7th July 2007, on that auspicious Saturday morning, Sze Mei who was already half dead working round the clock while everyone was sleeping (except me), brought Rachel and I to Damansara Jaya's famous Hong Kee Tim Sum Restaurant. It's just beside RHB bank and somewhere near ATRIA shopping complex.
First up, we had Ha Kau (prawns wrapped with a thin sheet pork dumplings).
Then we had Siu Mai (pork and lard wrapped in a thin sheet of flour) and it’s usually yellow in colour. But our Siu Mai is wrapped with seaweed.
Don't be disappointed. Here comes the yellow Siu Mai.
You can find 2 prawns inside each one of these fried "stuff". If you order this plate of fried "stuff", the waiter will give you Mayonnaise sauce as well.
This is a MUST TRY if you plan to eat here. Their Tan Tart (egg tart) rocks man. Very delicious.
The next one is Rachel's favourite. I didn't try it because it's not my favourite. As simple as that. Muahaha...
This Loh Bak Kou (carrot cake).
This is Loh Mai Kai (Steamed sticky/glutinous rice with fillings of pork and mushroom). This is one of the dish that I will order everytime I have Dim Sum for breakfast.
As for this bowl of porridge...Sze Mei said it's tasteless and I'm not sure about that. Maybe her tastebud went cuckoo after hours of working.
