Shot(s) over the Weekend

Since I started this blog, most of the friends that "appeared" in my blog are mostly my college friends. And because of that, sometimes I get teased by a few of my ex-schoolmates saying that they are not important anymore..bla bla la di da. The truth is, they are studying overseas and that explains how limited our chances are when comes to hanging out together.

But today, ladies and gentleman, welcome to this exclusive sneak preview or should I say, "The first time ever appearance by Miss Wong in my blog." LOL. I have known her since Form 1 and being a KIND, GOOD & CONSIDERATE friend, I decided to take a bus down to Singapore on a Friday night (25th July) and celebrate her birthday over the weekend.

Earning RM and having to spend S$ is a very tough challenge for me and as a first step, I asked around and found out that Transnasional buses only charges RM 30 for a trip to Sg and RM 50 back to KL. The bus left Puduraya around 1030pm as scheduled but around 1230am, we had to stop at some rest area because of oil leakage. In between that 2 hours, those sitting behind including me have been "sniffling" diesel and we thought it was normal until one of the passenger went to complain. Cut the story short, I reached Singapore's Lavender Street around 530am and managed to catch a few hours nap before starting the day.

By the time everyone gets ready, it was already lunch time and being the special guest, I get to choose what to eat for lunch. Anyway, the birthday girl eats almost anything and the first thing that came to her mind was the Onion Loaf (Full Loaf) in Orchard Road's Tony Romas.

WSY with her love, the oily Onion Loaf

In Msia, Tony Romas does not serve pork ribs and when you are in Singapore, do give it a try. We had Chicken Caesar Salad, Onion Loaf, the Original Baby Backs and St.Louis-Style Ribs. Really good stuff.

Siao Ning, Ray, Eddie and me. Birthday girl has the privilege to be the camera-woman.

In the month of June, I was in Singapore also and WSY took me to Attica and Gotham on Fri and Sat night. Since then, we were discussing which other clubs have "Siu Mui Mui" and "pretty handsome guys" and Butter Factory is the answer if you prefer younger crowds.

Butter Factory (Did not bring my camera along >_<")

This is my first time going into a club for free just by showing my namecard and identification card. Luckily Ray, SNing and myself kept our namecards wherever we go and poor Eddie and SYenn need to pay for cover charge with 2 drinks free (basically you are paying for it).

Time for B52!!

SYenn was so excited when the young Siu Mui Mui waitress told us that if we purchase selected shots during the happy hour (11pm-12am), we get additional one for free. Guess what? We ordered 6 shots of Slippery Nipple and 6 shots of Sex On The Beach.

(6+6)+(6+6) = 24 shots :)

That night itself, I think we ordered around 30 shots and with WSY around, 30 shots are never enough.

Ain't she funny..

Wong Siao Yenn, Happy Birthday and you still owe Eddie and me Maggi Curry Noodle. She cheated us that she will cook Maggie Curry while the both of us go and buy McDonald's nearby but when we are back, she's sleeping like a pig.

The journey back to KL was even horrifying. One Indian lady started singing Tamil songs from N.Sembilan and all the way back to KL. I was so irritated and "sshhhh-ed" at her twice. It was kinda loud and for a normal person, you will just shut the hell up and sleep, rite? She giggled and she continued singing. What the hell, rite?
