No More Hey Hey You You!

Merdeka Merdeka~ Malaysia Boleh once again. For those who have bought Avril Lavigne's concert tickets, I can feel your anger, frustration and sadness. Avril Lavigne's concert has been cancelled at the very last minute. Thanks to who? This time, the culprit making the headline is the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Shafie Apdal (I don't even know he exists).

You can visit this link for further information but I can tell you, its all rubbish excuses. Its the same as the incident when Man Utd tour to Malaysia was cancelled to make way for the Asian Cup and I was so bloody frustrated that time. Check out the story here.

Among the lame excuses given were:-

a) the concert falls during the nation's independence period and was not a suitable time to hold such a concert.

b) the Ministry does not want the independence and the near Ramadan month to be filled with such pop and rock culture.

c) we should be instilling good culture in the young.

WTF, rite? In a way, they are saying everything related to Avril is a bad culture and those under 18 should not be listening to her songs and its affecting those celebrating Ramadan. I think they would prefer you guys to stick to Barney and Friends or Teletubbies songs.

The Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister has planned for many events for Aug 29th and he does not want the concert to "steal the limelight" from his events, therefore he cancelled it. But would you guys be that patriotic to attend even if Avril's not coming at the first place? Feel free to criticise me for not being patriotic because I don't even feel like celebrating this year's National Day, thanks to those rulling bastards angels running the country.

If Avril is such a bad culture and threat to Malaysia's culture, why allow the sale of Avril's CDs and they should ban people like Kanye West or Will.I.Am who goes around singing if you are ugly, that's because your mother is ugly.

If Avril agrees to sing and perform by wearing baju kurung throughout the whole concert, I think Minister Shafie Apdal would change his mind.

If this kind of lame shit goes on with other international artists, Malaysia will be the first country that they will blacklist and everyone now must go to Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore or Hong Kong to catch these international stars.

Noob Fella.

This Lift Is Going To?

Have you ever asked something silly without yourself realising it? I guess almost everyone experience it before. Well, I just experienced it last Monday and let me share with you how noob one person can be.

Currently I am back in KL attending training for this whole week. Our training venue is at this building's 10th floor (Block C of Megan Avenue II) which is about 20 storeys high. During the break, my colleague and I went up to 16th floor where our main HQ is located, to fill up our drinking bottles.

After filling up our bottles, we were at the 16th floor, waiting for the lift to take us back to the 10th floor but when the lift arrived, we went in straight without realising it..

Colleague : Eh, the lift is going up.

Me : Aiyar, never mind-la. Still got time before the training session continues.

(Ting~~ Lift stops at 20th floor and a man steps in and technically logically speaking the lift is already at the highest floor and it couldn't go anywhere beyond 20th floor)

Noob Man : The lift is going down, is it?

Colleague : Yeah, it's going down.

Me : (Gave a blank stare at the Noob Man until we left the lift). Hey, I can't believe you just answered him just now. What on earth is that noob asking? He came into the lift at the 20th floor which is already the highest that a lift can go. You know what? We should have tell him that this lift is going up to heaven and welcome him onboard.

Colleague : Hahaha..I didn't realise that too.

Shot(s) over the Weekend

Since I started this blog, most of the friends that "appeared" in my blog are mostly my college friends. And because of that, sometimes I get teased by a few of my ex-schoolmates saying that they are not important anymore..bla bla la di da. The truth is, they are studying overseas and that explains how limited our chances are when comes to hanging out together.

But today, ladies and gentleman, welcome to this exclusive sneak preview or should I say, "The first time ever appearance by Miss Wong in my blog." LOL. I have known her since Form 1 and being a KIND, GOOD & CONSIDERATE friend, I decided to take a bus down to Singapore on a Friday night (25th July) and celebrate her birthday over the weekend.

Earning RM and having to spend S$ is a very tough challenge for me and as a first step, I asked around and found out that Transnasional buses only charges RM 30 for a trip to Sg and RM 50 back to KL. The bus left Puduraya around 1030pm as scheduled but around 1230am, we had to stop at some rest area because of oil leakage. In between that 2 hours, those sitting behind including me have been "sniffling" diesel and we thought it was normal until one of the passenger went to complain. Cut the story short, I reached Singapore's Lavender Street around 530am and managed to catch a few hours nap before starting the day.

By the time everyone gets ready, it was already lunch time and being the special guest, I get to choose what to eat for lunch. Anyway, the birthday girl eats almost anything and the first thing that came to her mind was the Onion Loaf (Full Loaf) in Orchard Road's Tony Romas.

WSY with her love, the oily Onion Loaf

In Msia, Tony Romas does not serve pork ribs and when you are in Singapore, do give it a try. We had Chicken Caesar Salad, Onion Loaf, the Original Baby Backs and St.Louis-Style Ribs. Really good stuff.

Siao Ning, Ray, Eddie and me. Birthday girl has the privilege to be the camera-woman.

In the month of June, I was in Singapore also and WSY took me to Attica and Gotham on Fri and Sat night. Since then, we were discussing which other clubs have "Siu Mui Mui" and "pretty handsome guys" and Butter Factory is the answer if you prefer younger crowds.

Butter Factory (Did not bring my camera along >_<")

This is my first time going into a club for free just by showing my namecard and identification card. Luckily Ray, SNing and myself kept our namecards wherever we go and poor Eddie and SYenn need to pay for cover charge with 2 drinks free (basically you are paying for it).

Time for B52!!

SYenn was so excited when the young Siu Mui Mui waitress told us that if we purchase selected shots during the happy hour (11pm-12am), we get additional one for free. Guess what? We ordered 6 shots of Slippery Nipple and 6 shots of Sex On The Beach.

(6+6)+(6+6) = 24 shots :)

That night itself, I think we ordered around 30 shots and with WSY around, 30 shots are never enough.

Ain't she funny..

Wong Siao Yenn, Happy Birthday and you still owe Eddie and me Maggi Curry Noodle. She cheated us that she will cook Maggie Curry while the both of us go and buy McDonald's nearby but when we are back, she's sleeping like a pig.

The journey back to KL was even horrifying. One Indian lady started singing Tamil songs from N.Sembilan and all the way back to KL. I was so irritated and "sshhhh-ed" at her twice. It was kinda loud and for a normal person, you will just shut the hell up and sleep, rite? She giggled and she continued singing. What the hell, rite?

I am Back.

Yes. I am back once again. I did mentioned that I am going to stop updating my blog but hey, humans are fickle minded creatures and I am not an animal, therefore I can be fickle minded sometimes. Yeah, I was lazy in updating my blog partly and decided to stop it completely that time because of the following reasons:

  1. Lazy to upload photos;

  2. "Hormones unbalanced" for a period of time and

  3. I was and I am still busy spending time with my new girlfriend.

Yea, she's quite fair and prettttty and cool. Let's talk about how I met her. I met her long time ago online and wasn't really interested in her or make the first move because she has this expensive pricey look and cheap ass like me couldn't afford having a girlfriend like her. Oh, she is also everyone's desire because apparently, alot of guys out there likes her too. But my whole impression of her changed since I went to Singapore twice during the month of June and July. My friend talked me through and instantly, I was interested in her already. From then on, everything is history and its up to me to make the first move...and let me introduce her now.
