MSN Display Pictures

MSN messenger. I am very sure everyone who knows how to use the internet, also knows what is MSN and it's functions. If you dont know, give yourself a smack on the head and ask your neighbour's children.

I am not going to teach you all how to use but how to express yourself if you are using MSN at work , lecture in college or even at home...yes.. at home! As an example, for those who are working and your boss orders you to do some stuff, you can ask him to look at your MSN picture. Same goes for those who get orders or requests from teacher, lecturer or even your mom (if your mom communicate with you through MSN even when both of you are under the same roof), just respond by asking them to see your MSN picture. Dont say anything else. If they are smart, they will get the answer. Then pray that your boss change his mind and won't give you work.

Just feel free to left click and save this picture and use it as your MSN DISPLAY PICTURE!

PROTON BOLEH!!

15th of June 2007, that morning was drizzling as I was preparing for work, I felt that I needed something extraordinary to keep me going for the day. After all, who doest want to continue sleeping on a rainy day especially if it rains in the morning??

As I was turning out towards the main road outside USJ 6, the road was surprisingly empty. For a moment, I thought it was holiday or something. As I drove further front, guess what I saw...

One of the Proton babies, the PROTON TIARA is about to explode, I thought at that time. What happen to the car was thick white smoke coming out from the front and flame was coming from underneath the car which was probably caused by oil leakage. I was so excited as this was my first time seeing such incident. Luckily the car didn't explode and the poor owner was soaking in the rain talking on his handphone. The traffic policeman doesn't seem to care as well. I think God heard my thoughts...

Conclusion : Proton BOLEH!!!

Jacket and Topside

For those who doesnt know me, I'm currently working in OILCORP BHD, a well-diversified group of companies involved in three (3) core business activities, i.e. oil & gas, special projects, hotel, resort operation and property investment, and deep-sea fishing.

I was actually on my study leave when my boss asked my colleagues to call me along to visit the Pulau Indah yard where they build these structures. Before my study leave, I was working on the accounts and preparing job costing reports for these structures. Personally, I have not seen an oil rig or huge gigantic structures related to the oil and gas industry. Finally, I had my chance today.

First, the jacket. The jacket is the structure which they drill into the seabed, in other terms, the kaki-lah to support the Topside.

This is the base of the jacket which will be drilled into the seabed.

The jacket is being loaded onto a "weird looking" ship to be shipped out to the sea. Picture taken from the Topside.

Now, the Topside which is the structure on top of the jacket. This is the place where office, engines, helideck and toilets are situated. Hehehe...

Too bad, I don't have the chance to follow the crews to the sea and watch how they drill the Jacket into the sea and place the Topside on top of the Jacket. I guess I can only watch from Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel on ASTRO.

Another specialised project completed by Oilfab Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of OILCORP BHD.

The Hen

After a night of drinking, Ben crept into bed beside his wife who was already asleep. He gave her a peck on the cheek and fell asleep. When he awoke he found a strange man standing at the end of his bed wearing a long flowing white robe. "Who the heck are you?" demanded , "and what are you doing in my bedroom?"

The mysterious Man answered, "This isn't your bedroom and I'm St.Peter. Ben was stunned, "You mean I'm dead!!! That can't be, I have so much too live for, I haven't said good-bye to my family.... you've got to send me back right away." St Peter replied, "Yes, you can be reincarnated but there is a catch. We can only send you back as a dog or a hen. "Ben was devastated, but knowing there was a farm not far from his house, he asked to be sent back as a hen.

A flash of light later, he was covered in feathers and clucking around pecking the ground. "This ain't so bad" he thought until he felt this strange feeling welling up inside him. The farmyard rooster strolled over and said, "So you're the new hen, how are you enjoying your first day here?" "It's not so bad," replies Ben, "but I have this strange feeling inside like I'm about to explode."You're ovulating," explained the rooster, "don't tell me you've never laid an egg before." "Never," replies Ben. "Well just relax and let it happen." And so he did and after a few uncomfortable seconds later, an egg pops out from under his tail.

An immense feeling of relief swept over him and his emotions got the better of him as he experienced motherhood for the first time. When he laid his second egg, the feeling of happiness was overwhelming and he knew that being reincarnated as a hen was the best thing that had happened to him ...ever!!!

The joy kept coming and as he was just about to lay his third egg he felt an enormous smack on the back of his head and heard his wife shouting, " Ben !! Wake up you drunken bastard, you're shittin' in the bed!"

The Old Man and His Shoe

One day an old man boarded a bus. As he was going up the steps, one of his shoes slipped off. The door closed and the bus moved off so he was unable to retrieve it. The old man calmly took off his other shoe and threw it out of the window.

A young man on the bus saw what happened, and could not help going up to the old man and asking, "I noticed what you did, sir. Why did you throw out your other shoe?" The old man promptly replied, "So that whoever finds them will be able to use them." The old man in the story understood a fundamental philosophy for life - do not hold on to something simply for the sake of possessing it or because you do not wish others to have it. We lose things all the time. The loss may seem to us grievous and unjust initially, but loss only happens so that positive changes can occur in our lives. We should not always assume that losing something is bad, because if things do not shift, we'll never become better people or experience better things. That's not to say of course that we only lose "bad" things; it simply means that in order for us to mature emotionally and spiritually, and for us to contribute to the world, the interchange between loss and gain is necessary.

Like the old man in the story, we have to learn to let go. The world had decided that it was time for the old man to lose his shoe. Maybe this happened to add momentum to a series of events leading to a better pair of shoes for the old man. Maybe the search for another pair of shoes would lead the old man to a great benefactor. Maybe the world decided that someone else needed the shoes more. Whatever the reason, we can't avoid losing things. The old man understood this. One of his shoes had gone out of his reach. The remaining shoe would not have been much help to him, but it would be a cherished gift to a homeless person desperately in need of protection from the ground.

Hoarding possessions does nothing to make us or the world better. We all have to decide constantly if some things or people have run their course in our lives or would be better off with others. We then have to master the courage to give them away.

DiGi

This is a true story of a young college girl who passed away last month, at Shah Alam. Her name is Priya. She was hit by a lorry. She had a boyfriend named Shankar. He lives in Johor. Both of them are true lovers. They are always on the phone with each other. You can never see her without her handphone. She spends ¾ of the day talking with Shankar. Priya's family knows about their relationship. Shankar is very close with Priya's family.

Before she passed away, she always tells her friends, "If I pass away please burn me with my handphone". She also said the same thing to her parents. After her death, people couldn't carry her coffin. A lot of them tried to do so but still couldn't, everybody had tried to carry the coffin, the result was still the same. Eventually, they called their neighbour, a "bomoh" from Thailand named Pak Darin who is a friend of her father's. He took a seat and started speaking to himself slowly. After a few minutes, he said "This girl misses something here". Then her friends told Darin bout her intentions to burn her with her phone. He then opened the coffin and place her phone, together with the SIM card inside the casket. After that they tried to carry the coffin. It could now be moved and they carried it into the van easily. Everyone was shocked.

Priya's parents didn't inform Shankar that Priya had passed away. After 2 weeks, Shankar called Priya's mom.

Shankar: "Atte, I'm coming home today. Please cook something nice for me. Don't tell Priya that I'm coming home today, I want to surprise her."
Her mother replied, "You come home first, I want to tell you something very important."

Once he arrived at Shah Alam, they told him the truth about Priya. Shankar thought that they were fooling around. He was laughing and said, "Don't try to fool me ... tell Priya to come out ... I have a gift for her. Please stop this nonsense."

Then they show him the Priya's death certificate as the proof to make him believe. Shankar started to sweat profusely. He said, "It's not true. We spoke yesterday. She still calls me." Shankar was shaking so badly when suddenly, his phone rang. "See this is from Priya. See this ....." he showed the phone to Priya's family. All of them told him to answer. He used the loudspeaker mode. All of them heard this conversation, loud and clear. It was Priya's voice! And there was no way others could use her SIM card as it was inside the nailed coffin! They were so shocked and asked for Pak Darin's help.

Pak Darin brought his master (Tok Chen) to solve this matter. He and Pak Darin worked for 5 hours then they discovered one thing .....
